Sandy Shores and Luxury Yachts, Welcome to St. Tropez
When people hear about Saint. Tropez, it’s usually said to be the playground for the rich and famous but prior to that it was known as a seaside resort due to the influx of different types of French artists/painters. Tourism is their biggest economic asset and although I’m neither rich nor famous, St. Tropez has always been on my list of places to go to, so I didn’t hesitate to get my travel buddies (hubby, siblings and cousins) on board which wasn’t too hard.
St. Tropez is located in southeastern France. It’s on the French Riviera, west of Nice. This far away heaven isn’t so easy to get to, so we saved it as the last place on our trip to visit. Our journey started from Houston, then we went to Chelsea London and Geneva. We then returned to France, but went south to Nice, St. Raphael and then St. Tropez. We mainly traveled by train in Europe and that was such a great idea because it gave us the best views of the towns, villas, beaches and most especially of the French and Swizz Alps. Meanwhile, we used a boat to get to St. Tropez from St. Raphael, and the view was breath taking.
I love to travel and I’ve seen my share of beautiful places. I’d love to get vacation home somewhere in the South of France when I retire. This has been added to my list, right next to Lake Como, Italy where I visited a few years ago.
Finally, the agenda in St. Tropez was to explore, enjoy the moment with family and just soak up as much as we could, from the sunny weather, sandy shores, the mesmerizing waters, to the colored houses, cobblestone streets, designer boutiques and luxury yachts. Here is a little of St. Tropez from my view.
