I hope you had a relaxing weekend before the holiday season kicks off. As thanksgiving draws close, I’m reminded of all the blessings in my life and I’m very thankful. One of the things I’m very thankful for is the opportunities I have. I started this blog as a way to share my passion and connect with people and it’s been amazing, from the wonderful people I meet to the doors it has opened.
Also, I’m so glad I can share with you my love for African print (Ankara) and fashion. My outfit today is made from Ankara and it’s one of my favorite fabrics to wear because of the fun prints, colors and most especially it’s versatile. You can make any style and it can be worn for any occasion like this shift dress that fits me perfectly. This can be worn alone if the weather is warmer like we have in Houston, but since it’s fall and cool in most places, you can wear a white shirt under this dress or wear a long sleeveless vest, blazer or trench coat if going to work or out to a meeting.
