I hope you’re recuperating from Thanksgiving fun and have snagged great sales during this weekend. I tried to give myself a budget but I failed after going to the Pop Shop in Houston yesterday. I felt like a kid in a candy store. They had a variety of vendors and products and I happily indulged myself.

So, while sales continue, use this opportunity to add a few things to your wardrobe either for work or play. It’s always great when you have an outfit that you can style for the office but easily transition for a date or happy hour with your girls, like this black “Blazer Dress”.  This is a sexy outfit because of the high slit and it’s great for a fun night out, but for a semi-formal look I wore the dress with red skinny jeans and nude pumps with my folder style clutch. This dress can also be worn with a black midi skirt with blue pumps or white palazzo pants for a day in office. Regardless of how you style it, a black dress is always classic and timeless and everyone needs to have a few in their closet.
