Good morning, Happy February!
February is such an important month to me, not because of Valentine’s Day, but because it’s my anniversary. Yes we celebrate two anniversaries, one from our first date and the other our wedding anniversary. This month makes it 7 years Michael and I have been together.
This year I decided to do a Valentine’s Day lookbook to share different ideas you can recreate for Valentine’s Day date night with your girls or partner. While doing these photoshoots, I was reminded that 7 years ago, I was on the journey of life alone as a single woman until a friend from college decided to take the brave step and go for what he wanted, which was ME. My husband asked me out this season and our first date was actually on February 14th. That date became the first of a lifetime of dates and the beginning of an amazing love story.
I have never been the woman who thinks that a man completes her, but one thing I can tell you is, my life has never been the same since I decided to share my life with Michael. He is the best man I know and it has been such a blessing having him by my side through the ups and downs. My life is so much richer and my heart so much fuller because of him. He has given me a deeper understanding of what love is and I thank God every moment for him. This new month is dedicated to the people we have in our lives whose love strengthens us and propels us to be the best.
