Black and White Work Wear + Date Night Look

Happy New Week!

Hope you had a fabulous weekend. For the next 2 weeks I’ll be doing a series of what to wear to take you from work, to Valentine’s Day, date night, dinner, happy hour etc. I’ll also be sharing details on what gifts to give and things to do with loved ones.

Today’s look is timeless and classic. I chose to wear this black and white dress from NY and Company because you can never go wrong with a black or white dress. It’s always chic and elegant, plus it flatters all body type.

It’s also great for any event and can be dressed up with pumps, pearls and a clutch purse, or dressed down with white sneakers and a crossbody bag. I decided to style it with these cape sandals from Shoedazzle, jewelry from my friends Esbe Jewelry Collection and my Daniel Wellington Classic Watch. Then I added a small pop of color with my embroidered clutch purse.

My favorite thing about this look is the white layered flare sleeves. It’s such a fun detail and I like the white contrast to the black dress.

I also love the midi length and fitted cut of the dress. It creates a great silhouette and elongates the body.
