How to Style a Bomber Jacket – Dress it Up

Today I want to share a few tips on how to style a bomber jacket. The bomber jacket has been in the fashion scene for decades and has made its mark as a closet staple. It originated as a jacket for military pilots but eventually transitioned into civilian wear and can literally be worn with any outfit. No matter how you rock it, it always complements a look.  It’s definitely a classic piece because it has easily transcended time. It is timeless, functional, super stylish and cool. It’s a great piece for Spring, it’s very comfortable and great for layering.

Below is a great example on “How to Style a Bomber Jacket” by dressing it up and creating that sporty chic look.

STEP 1. Select a bomber jacket that makes a statement. This can be a solid but bold color, print, color blocking detail or a jacket with extra details.
STEP 2. Pair it with a sexy fitted dress, to contrast the casual and sporty look of the jacket and instantly enhance your look.
STEP 3. Next, add a pair of heels to dress up your jacket. Rocking a pair of bold pumps can be another statement piece or you can tone it down with nude pumps.
STEP 4. Like icing on a cake, you need to add accessories. Select a cute and feminine shoulder bag or a big clutch purse, then add jewelry that complements your look….

and VIOLA!!! You have your dressy but cool laid back look built around your bomber jacket.
